In December,
I went on a family holiday to Mathura and Vrindavan. I got a few hours of free time and the driver suggested Agra, which was not on our itinerary. Every visit to this historical place Agra is complete with witnessing the breathtaking beauty of the Taj Mahal. This trip held
special significance as it marked the first time my daughter laid eyes on this
architectural masterpiece.
As someone
with a deep passion for photography, I couldn't resist capturing the essence of
this iconic structure through my lens.
A Glimpse
into History:
The Taj
Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, epitomises love and
architectural brilliance. Commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan
in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal took over 20 years to
complete. Its intricate design, combining Persian, Islamic, and Indian
architectural styles, has made it one of the world's most recognizable and celebrated structures.
