A Memorable Monsoon Adventure with Cousins to Jawhar

A trip with cousins is always filled with laughter, excitement, and unforgettable memories.

Our close-knit cousins family embarked on a monsoon adventure to Jawhar, Palghar, and it turned out to be one for the story books to experience for our kids.

With scenic landscapes, refreshing rains, and joyful camaraderie, our journey unfolded with many picture-perfect moments.

1. Breakfast Point at Mahavir Dham:

As the sun rose, our trip kicked off with an early morning breakfast at Mahavir Dham near the Viar highway. Fueled with delicious food and anticipation, we set off to explore the beauty of Jawhar.

2. I Love Jawhar - Hanuman Point:

At Hanuman Point, we couldn't resist striking a pose in front of the iconic "I Love Jawhar" sign. The breathtaking view from this vantage point left us in awe, making it the perfect spot to capture cherished group photos.

3. Kids' Delight at Hanuman Point:

The kids had a blast at Hanuman Point, reveling in the cool breeze and picturesque surroundings. Their laughter and happiness made the trip even more worthwhile.

4. Precious Family Moments:

We made sure to capture special moments with our loved ones. From candid shots to family portraits, the joy of spending quality time with our spouse and children will forever be etched in our hearts.

5. Bhutta aur Barish - A Monsoon Delight:

As the rain drizzled down, we relished the best combination in a monsoon trip - hot and tasty Bhutta (Sweet Corn). Savoring the flavors while embracing the rains at Hanuman Point was an experience worth cherishing.

6. Khadkhad Dam - A Serene Escape:

Though we missed some waterfalls in due to safety measures as Jawhar witnessed 300mm rainfall in last few weeks Khadkhad Dam provided a serene escape. The picturesque view of the lake from the top of the dam was mesmerizing and allowed us to connect with nature on a deeper level.

7. Halting at a Smooth Waterfall:

While driving back from Khadkhad Dam to Jawhar market, we stumbled upon a hidden gem - a smooth waterfall. The tranquility of the spot made it an ideal pause for capturing some more delightful memories.

8. Captivating Sunset at Noorani Masjid:

As the day came to a close, we witnessed a captivating sunset at Noorani Masjid in Jawhar. The vibrant hues painted the sky, creating a perfect ending to our day full of exploration and adventure.

Conclusion:

Our cousins' family trip to Jawhar, Palghar, was an absolute delight. From panoramic vistas to heartwarming family moments, the trip offered everything one could hope for in a monsoon adventure.

As we bid adieu to this captivating place, we cherished the memories and promised to embark on many more such unforgettable journeys together.

One Ride, Many Stories - My Solo Ride to Trimbakeshwar

A Journey with Metgezel It had been a long time since I embarked on a solo bike trip with "Metgezel," my trusty Bajaj Avenger Cruiser. The name Metgezel —Dutch for "companion"—perfectly captures the bond between a rider and their bike.  The day of the ride was special—it was Guru Nanak Jayanti and Kartik Purnima, although I only learned about their significance after reaching Trimbakeshwar. But before diving into the spiritual aspect, let me take you through the adventure.   The Day Before the Ride Every biker knows a long ride isn’t just about waking up and hitting the road. It’s a ritual to get ready with the riding gear—jacket, gloves, helmet, knee pads, and shoes—felt like a warrior's armour. My daughter, amused by my preparations, asked, “Pappa, whose wedding are you going to?” She missed the earlier scene where I was lovingly cleaning Metgezel!   The Departure: Mumbai to Jawhar Winter mornings make it tempting to stay in bed, but excitement nudged me u...
